Set directly against the ocean-facing dunes near Barwon Heads, the Beach Course enjoys some of the most consistently fresh air of any Victorian golf venue, with strong onshore winds off Bass Strait limiting any build-up of local pollutants. Grass pollen from nearby farmland can reach the exposed fairways during spring, and distant bushfire smoke may occasionally drift across on hot, dry summer days when wind patterns shift.
