Straumen in Trøndelag is a small village in Inderøy municipality on the inner Trondheim Fjord where birch, alder, and fjordside farmland vegetation are the main local pollen sources. The inner fjord position moderates local conditions, while the Atlantic-influenced Trøndelag climate provides frequent rainfall interruptions and birch peaks through April and May before grass from surrounding Inderøy farmland contributes through June and July throughout.
