Segalstad bru is a small Innlandet village in Gausdal municipality in the Gausa valley where birch, hazel, and valley farmland vegetation are the main local pollen sources. The Gausa valley concentrates pollen under calm conditions, while the inland Gudbrandsdalen continental climate produces a well-defined seasonal progression with birch peaking through April and May before grass contributes through June and July and mugwort extends into September.
