Inndyr is a small Nordland coastal village in Gildeskål municipality on the inner Vestfjord coast where birch, alder, and coastal farmland vegetation are the main local pollen sources. The Vestfjord coastal position means onshore winds can periodically disperse pollen, while the subarctic Atlantic climate provides regular rainfall interruptions and birch peaks through May before grass from surrounding Gildeskål farmland contributes through June and July throughout.
