Flisa is a small Innlandet village in Åsnes municipality on the Glomma River in Solør where birch, hazel, and riverside boreal woodland are the main local pollen sources. The Glomma valley concentrates pollen under calm conditions, while the inland continental Solør climate produces a well-defined seasonal progression with birch peaking through April and May before grass contributes through June and July and mugwort extends exposure into September.
