Føresvik is a small Rogaland village in Tysvær municipality on the Boknafjord where birch, alder, and fjordside farmland vegetation are the main local pollen sources. The Boknafjord position means onshore winds can periodically disperse pollen, while the Atlantic-influenced Rogaland climate provides frequent rainfall interruptions and birch peaks through April and May before grass from surrounding Tysvær farmland contributes through June and July throughout.
