Bismo is a small Innlandet village in Skjåk municipality in the Ottadalen valley where birch, hazel, and valley farmland vegetation are the main local pollen sources. The enclosed Ottadalen valley concentrates pollen under calm conditions, while the very dry inland continental climate means minimal rainfall interruptions and birch peaks through April and May before grass from surrounding mountain farmland contributes through June and July throughout this high Gudbrandsdalen side valley community.
