Home to Toronto's dense financial towers and paved plazas, Downtown Toronto sees a fairly muted pollen presence overall, since its scattered street trees and limited green space keep spring tree pollen relatively low, while narrow sightlines between buildings funnel and disperse airborne pollen quickly, keeping summer grass exposure minimal compared with the city's leafier residential districts further north where mature canopy and generous lawns dominate the landscape.
