Local Environmental Conditions
River oak crowds the water's edge here, a well-known contributor to local casuarina pollen counts; this sits within easy reach. This area, not far from here, has forest where eucalypt and wattle share the canopy and margins, wattle driving most of the seasonal pollen spike. Year-to-year swings in rainfall and wind can shift this picture somewhat either way.
