Løvstien parkrun follows the scenic Løvstien trail above Bergen, with panoramic views of the city, mountains, and surrounding fjords. The route passes through mixed woodland where birch is the dominant tree pollen source in spring. Bergen's coastal climate and frequent winds can help disperse pollen, although sheltered sections of the trail may still experience elevated local concentrations. Birch pollen typically peaks during April and May, while grass pollen from open areas and forest clearings is most prevalent through June and July. Later in the season, weeds such as mugwort may contribute to pollen exposure into late summer.
