Cape Town Trail Marathon runs through the Cape Peninsula mountain trails and fynbos landscape above Cape Town, with fynbos, restio, and protea as the main pollen sources along this spectacular mountain trail route. Surrounding Table Mountain National Park fynbos contributes exceptional botanical diversity, while the Mediterranean climate concentrates the season in spring from August through November and the Cape southeasterly winds frequently disperse pollen across the mountain trails throughout.
