How do the seasons affect air quality in Generalife? Winter tends to bring the year's weakest readings, as stagnant, cold air lets heating smoke and vehicle emissions build up rather than clear away. Hot, dry summer conditions favour ozone formation, so afternoon readings can rise even when traffic and heating pollution are otherwise low.
