Acilia's air quality reflects the Tiber delta coastal zone southwest of Rome, with vehicle traffic on the SS8 Via del Mare and the surrounding beach resort and residential character contributing local sources. The Tyrrhenian sea breezes provide coastal ventilation, while the Fiumicino Airport's flight path nearby contributes aviation NOₓ and the flat coastal Lazio plain generally allows reasonable wind dispersal throughout most of the year.
