Inhumas's air quality reflects the greater Goiânia metropolitan area in Goiás at 762 metres, with vehicle emissions from the GO-060 and the surrounding agribusiness and residential character contributing local sources. Dry season burning from surrounding Cerrado agricultural land contributes seasonal PM2.5 variation between June and September, while the elevated Central Plateau position aids background dispersal and the regional burning represents the primary seasonal air quality influence throughout the year.
