The hot dry Mediterranean summer concentrates pollen dispersal during spring, while the exposed Tyrrhenian Sea position means onshore marine winds frequently disperse pollen across the cliff-top trail and mugwort extends exposure into late summer throughout this iconic Amalfi Coast path.
