Perched on a bluff above the Saint Lawrence River, Quebec City experiences a cooler, later pollen season than Montréal, with the river cliff's mixed forest producing a modest spring tree bloom, a shorter summer grass window shaped by the region's northern latitude, and a comparatively mild ragweed presence into early fall.
