Airmine is proud to have been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) for the project Air Quality in Sports and Mass Events, supporting the development of next-generation environmental intelligence for outdoor sports and public events.

As participation in running races, cycling events, marathons, trail races, outdoor festivals and mass participation events continues to grow, understanding air quality and environmental exposure is becoming an increasingly important part of athlete health, performance and event planning.

The ESA project combines satellite data, atmospheric modelling, artificial intelligence and environmental forecasting to develop new solutions that make air quality insights more accessible and actionable for athletes, event organizers, sports federations, cities and the public.

Today, Airmine delivers hyperlocal air quality and pollen forecasts in more than 60 countries, helping millions of people make better-informed decisions about training, competition, outdoor recreation and everyday health. Through this collaboration with ESA, we are expanding our technology to support the next generation of sports technology, environmental intelligence and healthy outdoor experiences.

The project represents another important milestone in Airmine's mission to become the world's most trusted platform for air quality, pollen forecasting and environmental intelligence.
