Dragracing - fokus og risiko
Sportsgrenen dragracing går ut på å konkurrere om å kjøre raskest fra stillestående start til slutten av en rett bane på 400 meter (1⁄4 mile). Verdensrekorden innehas av Randy Meyer Racing team og er på 5.09 sekunder med en toppfart på 458,6 km/t (285 mph). Tid, akselerasjon og fokus er med andre ord avgjørende, og det er essensielt å holde rett kurs. “I Airmine jobber vi med lavere toppfart og noe romsligere tidsmarginer enn i dragracing, men vi deler fokuset på høy fart i riktig retning, viljen til å jobbe med høy risiko og evnen til å håndtere kritiske valg underveis”, sier daglig leder Kristin P. Grenan. “Som sjåfører er vi alltid på utkikk etter innovative måter å forbedre vår ytelse på og å ligge i forkant av konkurrentene. Med Airmine-plattformen kan vi forberede oss bedre og nå vårt fulle potensiale på banen. Dette er på samme tid som pollenallergikerne i Norden har begynt å kjenne allergien på kroppen. Partnerskapet bidrar forhåpentligvis til at Julie Nataas forsvarer sin verdensmestertittel i 2024 og at andre sportsutøvere og pollenallergikere generelt kan prestere bedre i hverdagen med hjelp fra Airmine.
Drag racing - focus and risk
Drag racing is the fastest, loudest and perhaps most spectacular of motorsports, pitting drivers and their cars against one another in pairs from a standing start. The standard course is a straight quarter-mile – sometimes shorter, never longer – and the racing format is instant-knockout. The world record is held by the Randy Meyer Racing team and is 5.09 seconds with a top speed of 458.6 km/h (285 mph). In other words, time, acceleration and focus is crucial, and it is key to keep straight. “In Airmine, we work with a lower top speed and somewhat wider margins than in drag racing, but we share the focus on high speed and acceleration, the willingness to take risk and the ability to handle critical choices along the way”, says CEO Kristin P. Grenan. “As drivers, we are always looking for innovative ways to improve our performance and stay ahead of the competitors. With the Airmine platform, we can be better prepared and reach our full potential on the field.
