Apizaco's air quality reflects the flat Tlaxcala-Puebla plateau at 2,460 metres adjacent to the DINA truck manufacturing corridor, with vehicle traffic on surrounding roads and the industrial, transport, and agricultural character contributing local sources. The elevated plateau position aids dispersal on most days, while winter inversions create seasonal challenges and the industrial and transport manufacturing character maintains moderate to elevated Mexican highland plateau industrial corridor readings throughout most of the year.
