Mizuho in Gifu reflects the Gifu Prefecture Kiso River plain position adjacent to the Nobi Plain, with vehicle traffic on surrounding roads and the manufacturing and residential character contributing local sources. The flat Nobi Plain allows reasonable dispersal, while summer photochemical ozone from the vast Chukyo metropolitan corridor is the primary warm-season concern and Mizuho generally maintains moderate Gifu Prefecture Nobi plain corridor readings throughout most of the year.
